Workshop Description: The Delaware Department of Education (DOE) has recently implemented a state-wide IEP format that will include annual goals and benchmarks for students. Most speech-language pathologists and educational audiologists have been writing objectives for students in IEPs. This workshop will provide participants with information on the difference between objectives and benchmarks, as well as provide opportunities to develop benchmarks for students who receive services related to speech, language, and hearing needs in the public school setting.
