Title: "Over-lapping Issues; The Complexity of Developmental Disabilities"

The conference will review expansion of diagnostic terminology and current diagnostic criteria of autistic spectrum disorder, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. Early identifying factors and “red flags’ will be discussed, as well as, suggested approach to early diagnosis of mental health issues. Emphasis will be on over-lapping issues of emotional and sensory regulation, mood stabilization, and anxiety control.

Participants will be able to;
Identify core diagnostic criteria of ASD, mood disorder, and anxiety disorders
Site key factors of early identification
Describe over-lapping issues of emotional and sensory regulation
Generate and implement strategies to address mental health over-lapping issues
Discuss current pediatric trends in mental health
